FEATURES
The new green dot model offers shooters an alternative in conditions where green may be easier to see than red. Built for use on pistols, offset on carbines, or piggybacked on LPVOs, the optic features an enclosed 6061 aluminum housing that protects the emitter from rain, dust, snow, mud, and debris. A large viewing window provides a full sight picture for fast target acquisition, while the aspherical lens delivers a distortion-free image with truer colors.
The Venom Enclosed Micro Green Dot also features adjustable brightness settings, top-mounted buttons for easy adjustments, and motion activation that automatically wakes the optic when movement is detected. FINAL THOUGHTS
As someone with severe astigmatism in both eyes, I notice that certain colors perform differently under various lighting conditions (not to mention for people with color blindness). Forcing yourself to conform to the same standards as everyone else isn’t helpful, and it’s encouraging to see optic manufacturers slowly adapting. If you like Vortex and prefer a green dot, consider the Venom Enclosed.
